WebJan 22, 2024 · A rescue society has been hard at work providing shelter for what the organization’s owner is calling a huge feral and stray cat problem in the Shuswap. Barbara Gosselin and her husband Dennis are the owners of Shuswap Paws Rescue Society , a group dedicated to raising money to help spay and neuter cats in the region. WebShuswap Paws Rescue Society is always looking for ways to fundraise as it’s non-profit and entirely volunteer-based. Rich said the society has spayed and neutered more than 200 cats this year from Sicamous alone. In the past two weeks, she said three dogs have been surrendered to them.
