It should work if applied at the correct rate. Another option, if you are willing to gamble a little is to spray with 28 ounces to the acre of glyphosate. WitrynaI started using IMOX because I have problems with nutsedge and horse nettle in my clover plots. The Clethodim and 2,4 DB don't phase either of these. The IMOX has been very effective against the nutsedge and somewhat effective against the horse nettle. So for my Mississippi bottom land clover plots I need both IMOX and 2,4 DB.

If you want a herbicide that kills both grass and broadleafs from clover, Imox is a good option. Click here for an example. You can normally wait until late spring to mow it to remove broadleaf weeds from clover.
