WebJan 30, 2016 · Yes, A6 injectors with the resistor box will work fine, and are compatible with the Z6 rail and manifold. Yes, you need the Z6 timing belt; the A6 is longer. The Z6 is a tight fit but works fine. All "new" Z6 and Y8 head gaskets should be multi-layer steel (especially if aftermarket OE-spec). I think the original A6 is still composite.
